dc.description.abstract Nine novel poly (amide-sulfonamides) having general structures 1-3 shown below, have been prepared utilizing low temperature solution polymerization. Variously substituted dianilines containing preformed sulfonamide linkages have been reacted with terephthaloyl chloride, isophthaloyl chloride and sebacyl chloride to yield polymer structures 1, 2 and 3 respectively. en_US
