dc.description.abstract I came to RIT, for a MFA in Computer Animation, with one aim in mind: to learn 3D animation. The most difficult part about my animation theses was finding a project that would challenge all that! had learned up to this point. I didn't want to just fly the camera around objects, as I'd seen in previous theses' and three dimensional animations. That was the easy way out! I set my goals high. I wanted to see if I could bring characters to life in 3D. I wanted to take traditional two dimensional character animation techniques and apply the movement to three dimensional models. en_US
