dc.description.abstract A descriptive narration of a project to create a 3-D computer animated film, "Danny," about a character loosely based on the artist's own younger brother as a child. Like the artist's brother, Danny is cute but destructive. The Danny of the film assembles a robot from household objects. The robot obeys his commands, but when Danny orders the robot to "attack" his toy soldiers, the robot goes berserk, destroying much of Danny's room. It is only when his mother walks in that the robot falls apart. Includes original thesis proposal, original storyboard, color prints of stills from the film, and the initial character sketches. en_US
