Title: The impact of internet commerce and trade exchanges on business productivity
Author: Simon, John; Cook, Jack
Abstract: According to some studies, the growing investment in information technology did not raise productivity in the 1980s - this observation was dubbed the productivity paradox. However productivity did rise in the 1990s - which could be a delayed effect, or due to the growth in networking. In this paper we address the impact of Internet commerce and trade exchanges on business productivity.
