Title: Quantitative decision making models in the planning and budget process of a hotel

Abstract: Linear and goal programming models are applied to answer questions encountered in the hotel business planning process. Both quantitative and non-quantitative factors are taken into account. The value of the application is discussed in light of the present methods used. Situations described are actual problems faced by the hotel manager. The implementation and use at the hotel are described.
